To list your rules you can use iptables -n -L -v where n outputs the ports and addresses in numeric format L means to list your rules and v means to output your rules verbosely.

to ban an ip address use iptables -I INPUT 2 -s 202.54.1.2 -j DROP where I means Insert a new rule INPUT means it affects incoming traffic s is the source ip address and j is what its going to do(j literally means jump).
